The Annoyingly Dependent Plates play with the ideals of function and dependency, needing a bit of support to be functional. Each piece is unique, the ceramic plates are hand moulded first then fired and glazed. Following this the designer sources and repurposes wood scraps found in Norway, with the exact thickness to support the ceramic plates, making the piece functional. Both pieces relate to each other, just like the relationship individuals have with their objects.
