This collection takes two recognisable typologies and collides them. The ancient hand built ceramic amphora vase and a contemporary understanding of the human form. The Out From Order vessels are made in collaboration with artisan potters from Menemen, located in the Aegean region of Turkey, created with local red clay. The pieces are fired in a smoked carbonised atmosphere to create a black steel finish.
