New Identity

New Identity is a collection of handmade carpets and three-dimensional wall hangings. This project takes inspiration from migration, the constant follow of people, culture, environments and identities. The piece explores the integration and blending of these identities translating them through forms, colours and compositions. They are created using traditional felting techniques, made using different types of wool, silk fibres, and vegetable ecological dyeing techniques.
