Ctenophora literally means “comb carrier” and it refers to some archaic organisms, closely related to jellyfish that are found in the water column. The artist’s work is inspired by simple life forms recurrent in nature. The way of sculpting and finishing the vessels aims to induce curiosity and change the perception of wood to lean towards metal, rust or stone.
